Impossible Geometries

Immersive & Interactive Projection Mapping Installation
2026

September 2026 - June 2027
Spark Science Centre - Calgalry, AB

Impossible Geometries is a playful 360-degree immersive experience exploring the surprising connections between art and mathematics. Across six interactive worlds, lines, circles, shapes, transformation, colour and rhythm come to life, inviting visitors to discover how creativity and logic overlap in unexpected ways.

The experience begins with handmade stop-motion animation, where drawings and everyday objects come to life before expanding into colourful, room-scale digital worlds. Blending real-time animation, responsive floor projections and an original soundtrack, Impossible Geometries brings together art, movement and mathematical ideas in playful and unexpected ways.

Created for curious minds of all ages, the experience invites visitors to move, experiment, spot patterns and discover new ways of looking at familiar ideas. Along the way, art reveals its logical side and mathematics gets a little creative.

Available for touring to immersive galleries, science centres and cultural spaces.
