Starting April 14 at 2pm MST we will be hosting weekly online gatherings aimed at building a community around digital creativity amidst these strange digital times. During these hour-long meetings we will guide discussions and short lessons that spur ideas, promote creative expression, create connections and help you to start creating with the tools at your fingertips.
These sessions are open to anyone interested in joining the discussion. We'd love you to get involved though, so we will have challenges and exercises that we can share and discuss in the following weeks.
Real-Time Tuesdays are not talking head workshops, but rather an active discussion and practice of digital creation and reflection. These meetings will work best if you are on a computer but feel free to join from your phone as well.
Hopefully these online gatherings will one day be replaced by real-life hangouts but until then the internet is all we have so let's unite! It's called Real-Time because we want everyone to create and feel a sense of satisfaction from our efforts, here and now!

"Entering the Third Dimension"
This week we will be giving an introduction to 3D graphics and animation. This will be much less technical than previous weeks as we won't be focusing on any specific software, but we'll be discussing how you can, right now, start exploring the super fun world of 3D computer graphics. We'll look at how to make still images, animations and how to integrate those into real-time processes.

'Making Connections: Sound to Light"
This week we will continue looking at fun examples of Real-Time graphics and video processing - specifically how sound and music can be used to control your live visual content. We'll also be sharing some artistic inspiration and hot tips on how to take control of your machines (before they take control of you??)
